Chocolate chip cookies are one of my favorite treats, but I can be a bit of a cookie snob because I only want the best cookie.  Levain is famous for having delicious chocolate chip cookies.  Levain certainly lives up to all of its glowing reviews!  Every cookie is the definition of cookie perfection: thick and extra-large.  They serve their cookies warm, so they are extra gooey and delicious (if I don’t eat my cookie right away I like to heat it in the microwave for a few seconds, so it’s just as good)!

Two Chip Chocolate Chip Cookie – The Two Chip Chocolate Chip Cookie is Levain’s signature chocolate chip cookie.  Its exterior is a crisp golden brown with a warm, chewy interior.  The center of the cookie is extra luxuriously gooey.  The edges are crisp and caramelized.  The cookie is flecked with a generous amount of rich, melty chocolate chips and chunks.  It has the perfect balance of taste and texture: the perfect ratio of cookie to chocolate and the perfect combination of crisp and gooey, soft.  Each bite is a heavenly experience in your mouth.

Fall Chocolate Chunk Cookie – The Fall Chocolate Chunk Cookie is a ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, and molasses cookie with Valrhona chocolate chunks.  It has a golden, crisp exterior and a beautifully gooey interior.  The spices are warm and satisfying.  The molasses is deep, rich, and sweet.  The flavor is like a gingerbread cookie, but brought to the next level with its thick, chewy texture.  The chocolate chunks perfectly compliment the spiced cookie with their rich, melty goodness.  This cookie is the perfect comforting treat for a chilly fall day!
