Enlighten-Mint Smoothie – The Enlighten-Mint Smoothie is made with mint, cacao nibs, banana, chia seeds, green spirulina, pea protein, dates, and homemade almond milk. This is one of my favorite smoothies! It is refreshing and flavorful with the perfect velvety texture. The fresh mint gives it a pure, minty flavor that shines through without being overpowering. The cacao nibs add a hint of deep, chocolatey flavor that creates a decadent mint-chocolate chip taste. This smoothie is the perfect dairy-free, processed-sugar-free alternative to a mint-chocolate chip milkshake. There is always a time for milkshakes, but when I want a tasty treat that isn’t too sweet, this smoothie is my first choice!
Waffsicle – The Waffsicle is a gluten-free waffle on a stick made with almond flour, pea protein, buckwheat, puffed quinoa, banana, maple, potato starch, apple juice, olive oil, baking soda, cinnamon, and vanilla. The Waffsicle is delicious and satisfying. It has a dense yet tender texture with an excellent balance of flavors. The subtle, mapley sweetness blends nicely with the cinnamon and vanilla. The almond flour and buckwheat provide a nutty flavor that I quite enjoy. My favorite part is the puffed quinoa that adds a fun crunch to each bite. I love having Waffsicle as a snack or alongside a smoothie for breakfast.
Downtown Burrito – The Downtown Burrito includes Yukon potatoes, chickpeas, onions, red pepper, paprika, garlic, turmeric, black pepper, and sea salt in a whole wheat wrap with salsa. This burrito has a unique flavor profile that is exciting and scrumptious. The potatoes and chickpeas are tender and creamy. They meld with the flavorful blend of turmeric, paprika, and garlic. The onion and red pepper are savory and subtly sweet. The wrap has the perfect light crisp on the outside. The blend of potatoes, veggies, and spices create a flavor profile similar to a veggie samosa. The salsa adds the perfect kick of spice and brightness to the burrito. If you are looking for a vegan burrito that isn’t just filled with beans and rice, this is it.
Matcha Latte – The Matcha Latte is made with matcha, vanilla, cardamom, maple, lion’s mane, and homemade almond milk. I love matcha but tend not to enjoy matcha lattes from cafés because they often are too sweet or don’t have enough matcha flavor. Goodsugar’s matcha latte meets my approval! It has the perfect amount of earthy, grassy matcha flavor with just a hint of sweetness. The vanilla gives a richness to the latte. The cardamom adds a nice warmth while the lion’s mane provides a touch of satisfying bitterness. The almond milk is creamy and refreshing. The addition of cardamom and lion’s mane makes this matcha latte unique and delicious!
