Prosciutto, Truffle, Burrata Sandwich – This sandwich includes Tuscan prosciutto, burrata cheese, truffle and porcini mushroom cream, and baby arugula on fresh Italian bread.  It is truly an incredible sandwich.  The prosciutto is perfectly salty and buttery.  The creamy burrata is slathered on the bread, balancing the salty prosciutto with its mild, milky flavor.  The truffle and porcini mushroom cream adds a deep earthy, savory flavor.  The arugula is bright and subtly spicy with a perfect crunch.  These fantastic ingredients all meld together on the perfectly crusty bread dripping with olive oil.  This sandwich absolutely blew me away.  The burrata and arugula are light and fresh while the prosciutto, truffle, and olive oil are indulgent and decadent, creating a perfect harmony of deliciousness.  My mouth waters just thinking about it.  It is simply incredible.  

Spicy Salame Melt Sandwich – This sandwich includes spicy Italian salame, caciocavallo cheese, mozzarella, and jalapeno mayo on fresh Italian bread. The salame is wonderfully salty and peppery. The cheese is perfectly melty. The caciocavallo cheese has a a great complex, savory flavor that adds depth to the sandwich. The mayo is creamy and delicious. The mozzarella and mayo balance out the salty caciocavallo and salame. The olive oily bread was incredible as always. The sandwich was quite mild although it is called “spicy”. It is packed with great flavors, so I didn’t mind. This is a great hearty sandwich if you’re in the mood for something comforting.

Nutella Bombolone – The Nutella Bombolone is a donut covered in coarse sugar and filled (and topped) with Nutella. The donut is airy with just a touch of chewiness on the inside and perfectly golden on the outside. The sugar coating gives a great texture and sweetness to the donut. The Nutella inside is delicious and perfectly compliments the more neutral donut with its sweet, creamy goodness. This is a fantastic, delicious donut!

Apricot Jam Bombolone – The Apricot Jam Bombolone is a donut covered in coarse sugar and filled (and topped) with apricot jam. The donut is airy with just a touch of chewiness on the inside and perfectly golden on the outside just like the Nutella donut. The sugar coating adds sweetness to each bite. The apricot jam is perfectly sweet and slightly tart with nice chunks of apricot. The apricot jam makes the donut bright and light. It is perfect if you are craving something sweet and light after your meal.
