When the holidays season rolls around, there is more than ever to do in NYC. My favorite part is all of the delicious wintery treats around the city. From the Bryant Park Winter village, to hot chocolate cafes and winter desserts, there are so many fun and incredible things to try! Here are 6 of my favorite treats available this winter. MarieBelle

MarieBelle is a gourmet chocolate shop and hot chocolate cafe. During the holiday season, it is decorated beautifully with lights, snowflakes, and ribbons galore. You can stop by for one of their various flavors of incredible hot chocolate to-go or sit down in the cozy cafe for a hot chocolate and a sweet treat. It is the perfect place for a special treat on a cold day!

Baked Cheese Haus

Baked Cheese Haus is a raclette stand in the Bryant Park Winter Village. It is made fresh to order including a warmed baguette slathered with gooey baked cheese, cornichons, dijon mustard, and green onions. You can leave out any ingredient or add meat. It is an amazingly comforting winter food. If you are a fan of melty cheese and baguettes, you must go get some raclette from Baked Cheese Haus!

Sweet Tooth NYC

Sweet Tooth is a dessert stand in the Bryant Park Winter Village. Sweet Tooth makes pastry cones filled with a luxurious cheesecake cream. They have various flavors of creams and many different toppings. My favorite is the Oreo flavor. If you love creamy cheesecake as much as I do, Sweet Tooth is a must-try.

K. Minamoto

K. Minamoto is a Japanese bakery with a variety of authentic Japanese confections. Every single dessert is visually gorgeous and delicious. The winter menu is my favorite because it includes many chestnut flavored desserts. The real chestnuts in each dessert adds a delicate and unique flavor that I absolutely love. The dried persimmon filled with white bean is a favorite of mine as well. Anything from K. Minamoto is an amazing gift or special treat for yourself.

Levain

Levain is a bakery with world famous extra thick cookies. Their winter special is the Dark Chocolate Peppermint cookie. The cookies are warm and gooey on the inside and perfectly crisp on the outside. I always crave a warm cookie with milk in the winter and Levain perfectly hits the spot.

Lysée

Lysée is a high-end dessert shop with French-Korean inspired desserts. Their menu changes each season. These desserts are the best desserts I’ve ever had in my life. Their signature toasted brown rice mousse cake is a wonderfully satisfying treat in the winter. The apple-yuja tart is an incredible twist on your traditional apple tart. Lysée also has signature hot drinks that are perfect for the winter. The Sweet Potato Latte is rich and comforting with delicious, subtle sweet potato flavor. You can order to-go or get reservations to sit down for a tasting menu or à la carte menu. If you really want to treat yourself with a special dessert experience, Lysée is the place!

Glacé by Noglu Hot Chocolate

 Glacé by Noglu is famous for their unique hot chocolate that is surrounded by a rim of toasted marshmallow. It is a super special warm, sweet treat in the winter. My favorite is the peppermint hot chocolate. The line may often be long, but it moves quick and is definitely worth the wait.

Babka Bailout

Babka Bailout is a bakery that makes unique and delicious flavors of babka.  You can find them at the Bryant Park Winter Village or the Union Square Holiday Market. If you like babka, there will certainly be a flavor you love whether you are adventurous or prefer something more traditional. I love the black sesame babka and the guava brie babka. It is a great gift or treat for yourself!
